The Updated Yandex.Navigator no longer eat the battery?

Yesterday I ran the new version on the test Highscreen Yummy Duo — camera has been running the Navigator and the screen on for 3 hours and discharged by only 30%. Before the battery fully died for a couple of hours of the operation Navigator without charging. The list of improvements for the current version there is nothing about optimization. So maybe it was an accident. In any case, Express gratitude Yandex and hope that this fix still made consciously and will not be lost in the next version. If so, then maybe someone will answer the question of why modern navigation software is so demanding? As I understand it, to render three-dimensional maps should be used 3D hardware accelerator. Even HD video playback consumes much less resources.
