New to VPS Search: Notepad domain and Notepad servers
Today I want to talk about two new features that appeared on Search VPS last month: the notebook server and Notepad domains. Notepad domains I transferred from a closed project 2ns.info.

Domain names are now actually the basis of the Internet — without them, the existence of any website is impossible. Statistics show that most of the existing domains are not used by their current owners: someone is buying domains for future projects, and some for resale at a price that is tens to hundreds times larger than the initial one. I have a number of domains that I bought, but have not yet had to use them for any project.
When only a few domains to keep up with them simply, but with the growth of the number of domains is quite difficult to keep track of those when a domain needs to extend and control what domains are available. You can make a sign in excel, but it's pretty difficult to update the information about the expiry of registration of each domain.
Specially for such cases, I wrote “Notepad domains” service that will help to make a list of all domains and be reminded of where a domain should be renewed.
From a technical point of view, everything looks simple: the user adds a domain, and the system automatically parses the whois for this domain and determines the date of registration, expiry of registration and the Registrar for this domain. Also, it is the definition of DNS servers and TCI. Every few days, the data is updated, so if the domain is renewed, the data will be updated automatically in the near future.
Also you can subscribe to the monthly newsletter about expiring domains: the system will send the information about the domains registration period that ends this month. In addition, there are ideas to make a tracking system for SSL certificates along with information about the end of domain registration to send information about what an SSL certificate is due to renew.
Of additional “buns” unable to allocate calendar domains — it allows you to visualize when a domain expires in the coming year.

The idea of “Notebook server” coincides with “Notepad domains”, only the data object a little different. However, there is a slight difference: with domains all the easier and it is possible to automatically learn the end date of registration. Servers, unfortunately, it will not work.
It was therefore decided to make just a convenient form for data storage on the servers.
To add a server you need to specify one of the IP addresses (IPv4 or IPv6) and server type (virtual or dedicated), all other fields are optional to fill in: name, the hostname, a list of additional IP addresses, server location, hosting provider, description, link to the control panel and price.
Obi functions are completely free for users, no fee for the use is not planned. They are created solely for the convenience of users.
